sa wilsons therapy blendThere are many common questions about s.a. Wilson’s coffee.  It’s very unique that they’re actually a brand of coffee that is actually roasted for the specific use of enemas.  The demand for coffee enema equipment, instructions, and professional coffee enemas has increased exponentially in the past few years, so it’s no wonder that the demand for a specific roast for coffee enemas would spring up as well.

So what’s special about s.a. Wilson’s coffee?

The Color

The color of the coffee beans is much lighter than coffee you’re used to seeing.  Actually, coffee cherries go through many color changes – from green, to red, and are eventually burned black (for drinking coffee).  Because this blend of coffee is for enema use, the beans are not roasted so far as to turn black – the color is a yellowish gold, and may turn a bit green if stored for a long time.

The Blend

organic coffee enema kits.a. Wilson’s blends seven different types of beans from different countries in the world.  They’re not specific about where their beans come from, but they mention that it’s probably not places you’re used to buying your beans from.

They also have a patented “infusion” process that helps to keep the most important elemets of an effective coffee enema present in their highest levels possible.  The resulting coffee is drinkable but tastes more like tea that your typical cup of coffee.

The Roast

s.a. Wilson’s have their own specific roasting and infusing process which no other brand of coffee uses.  This is because they’re coffee is specifically used for coffee enemas, and not for drinking.  The way they roast the coffee helps to make the coffee enema more effective. The resulting blend is known as their Therapy Blend.

The Elements

s.a. Wilson’s coffee is 100% certified organic. Like I said above, they’ve got a specifc blend and roast that maintains elements of in the beans that are important for enema use.  The resulting blend is something like a light roast.  Stuff like higher caffeine conetent can help the liver produce more bile and give you a better liver detox cleanse.

  • **48% more Caffeine
  • **87% more Palmitic Acid

The Results

Repeat customers have commented saying that s.a. Wilson’s coffee is easier to retain, more effectively reduces pain, and is less harsh.

If you’re going to start doing your coffee enema’s at home, you should definitely at least check out the s.a. Wilson’s site.  They’ve got some interesting information about how to do a coffee enema at home, specifics about their Therapy Blend, and other interesting FAQs about coffee enemas.  It’s a great site.

While the s.a. Wilson’s Therapy Blend is very unique and I can highly recommend it, it’s not absolutely necessary to use this kind of coffee.  Pretty much any organic coffee works well enough.  Experiment with different types of coffee and see what works best for you.

coffee enema instructionsOk, so you’re ready for a coffee enema and all you need are the coffee enema instructions.  We’ve got you hooked up.

First,  you need to make sure you’ve got all the right supplies.

  • Organic Coffee (we strongly suggest organic)
  • Glass Brewing Pot
  • Enema Bag
  • Enema Tube
  • Filtered Water
  • Strainer
  • Lubricant

Now, some of the supplies we listed have some pretty specific requirements.  Organic coffee is pretty important because the coffee used in the enema will be absorbed directly into your intestinal walls. Unlike drinking a cup of coffee where there’s a whole digestion process preceding absorption into your body, this is more direct.  The health benefits and effectiveness are of course increased as well, but just be careful about what kind of coffee you use.

The kind of pot you use is important as well.  Use glass.  Metal pots and pots from other types of materials can affect the quality of water.  During the boiling process small particles from the pot material can dissolve into the water and during the enema, get absorbed into the blood stream.  Organic coffee is nice, but not a must.  A glass brewing pot is a MUST.

Don’t use drip style coffee.  Paper and plastic filters present the same problem as metal pots.  Micro-particles from the filter material will affect the quality of the coffee enema, and may get absorbed into he blood stream.  Also, if you brew your coffee in a stand alone pot, nutrients and caffeine in the coffee won’t be filtered out.  This means that your enema will have greater health benefits for you.

coffee enema instructionsWhen you boil the coffee (about 1 liter / 4 cups / 2 quarts of water with three tablespoons of freshly ground organic coffee), you can boil the grinds with the water, or first boil the water and the pour the water over the ground coffee.  Both methods work, but I prefer to boil the coffee and water together.

Boil for three to five minutes then simmer for fifteen to twenty minutes.  Once you’re done brewing the coffee, let it cool.  Temperature is important.  When you drink coffee, hot is great.  You aren’t drinking this pot.  Room temp to luke-warm is the MAX temperature you should be using.  If you’re unsure for your first time, air on the safe side and go cool.  You can seriously damage your intestines if you use hot coffee.

Strain the coffee and add some filtered water.  Some water evaporated during the boiling process, and you’ll need to whole liter (2 quarts)

Here’s a summary of what you need to prepare coffee for the coffee enema.

  1. Get supplies
  2. Grind Coffee
  3. Measure Water
  4. Boil and Simmer Coffee
  5. Let Cool
  6. Strain (remove coffee grinds)
  7. Prepare Enema

organic coffee labelFor anyone who decides to do a coffee enema, there is inevitably the choice of what kind of coffee to use.  While it can be convenient to use whatever you’ve got laying around, using organic coffee for your coffee enema is the best way to go, whichever way you look at it.  The health benefits of drinking organic coffee greatly outweigh any price difference or inconvenience, and the coffee you use for your enema is no different.  Actually, because the coffee you use during the enema will come into direct contact with your intestinal wall. Unlike drinking coffee where there is a whole digestion process before the coffee is absorbed into the body, coffee used during your coffee enema is absorbed directly into your bloodstream

Have you ever heard of free radicals? They’re atoms or groups of atoms with missing electrons, and can cause serious heal problems, including cancer.  Free radicals are formed during oxidation when some of the oxygen atoms do not bind with hydrogen atoms. As a result, they seek the missing electrons from their neighboring molecules that are healthy.

organic coffee beansAntioxidants are substances that neutralize the free radicals in the body and protect it from cellular damage.  There are many anti-oxidants in foods like fruits, vegetable, and other foods contain vitamins A, C, and E. A diet rich in antioxidants reduces the risk of developing certain types of cancer as well as stress related diseases in addition to slowing down the aging process.

This is where organic coffee beans come in.  While many studies show that after roasting, organic and non organic coffee contain the same amounts of antioxidants, there are still others that claim the opposite.  Whichever side you believe, the fact that a pot of fresh roasted coffee can bring you clear and definite health benefits is undeniable.  These free-radical destroying antioxidants produce even quicker and more obvious health benefits when absorbed directly into he bloodstream from a coffee enema.

fair trade organic coffeeThen there’s the problem of pesticides.  It’s a wonder people still drink non-organic coffee, but with modern advertising techniques and general apathy by the common coffee drinker, most people forget that the coffee they drink every is grown with some pretty dangerous pesticides.  That’s not to say that all non-organic coffee is going to poison and kill you, but there are still some very real dangers non-organic coffee presents to the regular coffee enthusiast.  Pesticides like Thiodan, Dursban, and Disulfoton are used on coffee plants to prevent insects like the coffee cherry borer and the leaf miner.  Maybe you’ve never heard of these things, but you can bet that you wouldn’t volunteer to ingest it.  Pesticides like these damage the surrounding environment and wildlife.  The water, soil, plant life, and animal life damaged by these chemical is just the beginning – imagine what the coffee beans grown in this type of environment are slowly doing to you.

Though fair trade practices in the buying and selling of coffee beans may not affect the results of the enema, those that buy and support organic coffee tend to pay attention to things like this.  Fair trade organizations help out on both sides of the buying and selling of coffee.  By giving coffee farmers a better price for their product there is more incentive to meet a high standard of bean growing and organic farming.  Pure, organic, high quality coffee growing means that a better bean is grown, a better roast is produced, and a healthier, tastier product is the end result.

So, when you decide to do your coffee enema, remember that it’s not necessary to use organic coffee.  It is however, an obviously better choice to do so.  Did you know that there’s organic coffee designed specifically for enema use? Learn more here.
