Doing a coffee enema at home is pretty easy. There are a few supplies you need, and a few rules to follow, and you’re good to go. There are many advantages to doing a coffee enema at home, mostly that it’s in your own private space. While going to a professional clinic can be convenient, and you can be sure that you’re going to get an effective enema with good results, I still prefer doing it at home. The first couple times may be a bit confusing, but once you get your supplies and get into a good rhythm, you’ll wonder why anyone would pay all that money! That’s another advantage of doing your coffee enema at home…you can save TONS of money.
Supplies
- Enema bag or bucket
- Enema tube
- Lube
- Organic ground coffee
- Glass pot
- 1 liter filtered water (4 quarts)
- Strainer
- Towel
- Pillow
- Space to do the enema
Procedure
- Grind your coffee (2 – 4 tablespoons)
- Boil for about 3 minutes, simmer for 15-20
- Let coffee cool
- Place coffee in enema bag or bucket (the amount will depend on your experience and comfort level *1-3 quarts for one time is recommended)
- Find a place to hang the enema bag (no more than 2 feet above you)
- Find a comfortable position – back, left side, right side
- Insert tube into your colon (2-3 inches)
- Let the coffee run into your anus
- Hold for 5 to 20 minutes, switch positions if necessary
- Remove tube and sit up for a bit before expelling into the toilet
- Repeat if necessary.

You may prefer the coffee warm, or cool. You may like placing the bag higher or lower. There are many variables here, so just remember that whatever you’re comfortable with is best.
